The Mini Countryman is an SUV produced by the German-British manufacturer Mini. As the first SUV in the Mini lineup, its sales in 4x2 and 4x4 versions began in late 2010. The first generation was manufactured in Graz by the Austrian manufacturer Magna Steyr, the second generation was produced in Rayong, Thailand, and Born, Netherlands, at the Dutch manufacturer VDL Nedcar's plant. The third generation is assembled by BMW in Leipzig, Germany. It borrows its name from a shooting brake version of the original Mini.
